耶稣出来行路的时候，有一个人跑来，跪在他面前问他说，良善的夫子，我当作什么事，才可以承受永生。
And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
耶稣对他说，你为什么称我是良善的。除了神一位之外，再没有良善的。
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
诫命你是晓得的，不可杀人，不可奸淫，不可偷盗，不可作假见证，不可亏负人，当孝敬父母。
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
他对耶稣说，夫子，这一切我从小都遵守了。
And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
耶稣周围一看，对门徒说，有钱财的人进神的国是何等的难哪。
And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
你们去吧。我差你们出去，如同羊羔进入狼群。
Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
无论进那一城，人若接待你们，给你们摆上什么，你们就吃什么。
And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
迦百农阿，你已经升到天上。或作你将要升到天上吗将来必推下阴间。
And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.
那七十个人欢欢喜喜的回来说，主阿，因你的名，就是鬼也服了我们。
And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
耶稣对他们说，我曾看见撒但从天上坠落，像闪电一样。
And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
